2 new guys on their way this week.
Merlin is a nearly 3yo ekkie. He arrives today. My friend is having to part with him as her husband has pretty much lost the plot over him. Merlin killed one of their budgies a month or so back and trouble has been brewing since. He's finally decided that Merlin now has to go (more behind this story I think) so he's coming here. Now I've met this guy and he's a sweety. Needs firm boundaries but apart from that justneed to remember to keep him away from, baby birds and budgies.
Next up is Scruffy a 34yo galah who has been with her owners since a chick. They've retired sold the family home and can't take Scruffy with them. My Uncle sold their house for them and told them about me so I was asked to take Scruffy. She sounds like quite a chracter, loves to dance but you need to sing to her. Not sure if that will be happening as I'm crap at singing.
Hubby needless to say has put his foot down and said no more pet birds after these 2. Well it's not like I went out looking. Think my chances of another grey have just been completely shot.
