We have two hand reared cockatiels (both female we believe) They spend most of their time in the indoor/outdoor cage, but love to do laps of the living room when I open the door, before landing on the heads of their respective "child". My husband grumbles about them- but he will always offer them a piece of crust from his morning toast (he does get annoyed when they insist on pooping on the newspaper he's trying to read though LOL)
My daughter's bird is Bailey- she is a beautiful little lady who came to us as a rehome. She adores scratches, and eathing anything she can get her little beak on- has been known to jump into the bowl of popcorn, so now we keep her a supply without salt and butter!

My son's bird is Murray (he still hopes that murray is a boy!) We bought Murray for him at a bird sale 12 months ago, as a newly weaned baby. This little guy enjoys hanging out on my son's head, but is a bit of a grump- he pretends he wants to bite you, and has to have his little carry on everytime before he lets you give him a scratch (then gets VERY annoyed if you ever dare stop LOL)
