Ok I found this cage on Craigslist
Its nice & I like it we are going to stop to see it in person this weekend when we are in Tallahassee. What do ya'll think? They are asking $195 how much lower do you think I could get them to go on it? I think its a good price but from the email they sent me it sounds like they are willing to go lower! I would first ask what happend to the resident? I am usually overcatious with used cages because of the disease risk.

Is there no way to disinfect a cage that housed a bird that has a disease?

Yes, there is. I steam clean mine and then wipe them down with a non-toxic homemade disinfectant of grape seed extract, water, hydrogen peroxide, a tiny bit of dish soap and a fragrance from an essential oil (100% pure). Grape seed extract is much more powerful at disinfecting and Clorox. I never use bleach in my house.
