From the pics, your baby looks at least 5 months old. The feathers are not fully grown at 3,5 months. Yours must be growing very fast.

Well, then I guess he/she must be growing really fast then! I did buy the baby from a breeder and have a breeder's certificate with date of birth (6th of June this year). Would not think that he'd give out faulty information. Interesting though... that he/she's growing so fast... what could be the cause of that?

My grey won't even be three months until October 10th and it looks relatively the same, feather wise. It's not as freakishly big (comparing it to the pictures of Malaika), but the amount of feathers are the same. I guess some grow faster than others!

I've looked at some pictures of other greys of 3 months of age and I don't really see any differences? What makes my baby look so much older? I remember seeing baby greys at Omar's when I was in California one year that also looked like my baby. But I've never raised a grey so young before, so I don't really know.

Then, I guess my seller lied about my CAG's age when I bought from him.

Thanks for the comment KCHC! Actually the baby really isn't that big, it's Malaika that's tiny! ^^ She's more the size of a timneh than a congo. :p Erithacus, as I said I really don't know. :/ What did the breeder tell you?
