Yes, she allows us to use our hand to scratch her. She is very fond of asking us to use objects to give her scritches. That back scratcher was used to push her swing to prevent my wife from being bitten. Cocoa likes to bite our fingers (in a form of playing) when we push the swing. Instead of swinging, Cocoa asked for "Tuk Kat Kat" (pronouce Took Cut Cut) meaning scritches in her language.
