Default Vern

Well I started the Pluck No More once again with Vern. I had stopped it to soon last time. I am also trying something different this time. According to the directions you are not supposed to give them any "wet foods" during treatment. I am guessing so they drink more of the treated water. Well thats impossible here since my greys are this bird mash diet and do not have any pellets etc ever. So I started spraying her food and all her snacks (apples, corn etc) with the PNM and this is where we are at about 8 weeks. I think she is doing better this time then she was the first time as you can see from these 21st hatchday pics

Life is good when you are the chosen one. Except of course when you get barfed on.

I mix it in a spray bottle in the proportion they recommend and douse Bing with that daily, after his shower. He is doing well. I don't know if it is the PNM or not but I'm too afraid to stop the experiment. I no longer try to mix it in the drinking water. I hate to admit it but it was too expensive to mix it in his water bowls and Daves and since he might drink out of both to just mix it in his seemed to be only half a shot.

I don't mean to make a product plug but I bought the Poop Off spray bottle mister and love it. It sends out a really fine mist which seems to keep waste down and also seems to be holding up pretty well too.
