Default Veggies

can I give my grey any veggie? I eat kale and spinash a lot and i would like to incorporated in her diet. Should I?

sorry I am just seeing this.
you can give kale and limit the spinach. Trying to remember what too much spinach will do, but am drawing a blank at the moment.

I remembered something about spinach too, and found the attached, at another web-site:

"Even though most dark leafy greens are rich in calcium, broccoli, rapini, turnip greens, collard greens and mustard greens are better sources than spinach, chard and beet greens because of the high oxalic acid content that blocks absorption of the calcium in spinach, chard, and beet greens.".

I agree with Lisa and Slyons to limit the spinach. I actually have never fed spinach to my parrots just to stay on the safe side.
