I am unsure if Henry is starting to molt. Please forgive me for all the questions lately, but it has been a long time since I last had a bird in the house. I was a bit worried that Henry was plucking, as i saw a few feathers and fluff in the bottom of the cage, maybe 3 or 4 per day. Then this morning I scratched his head, and 2 feathers fell out. I am assuming he is beginning a molt. I noticed today that there is an area on his neck which seems to have an area of pin feathers coming in, I took some pics, it's a bit hard to see, but I was wondering if this looks normal, it is very high up his neck so i doubt he could pluck there any way.
I cuddled him up to my chest and scratched the area, and he seemed very happy.
